Welcome to Morocco

An ancient land where time slows down, hearts open wide, and love stories become legends. In November, we are asking the people we love most to travel far, walk through a carved wooden door, and stay a while.

The Celebration

The Riad Courtyard, Palais Namasker

An unhurried Moroccan feast beneath the lanterns. Come as you are after travelling — we simply want to see your face. Mint tea is poured until late.

The Olive Garden, Palais Namasker

Please be seated by 3:40 PM. The ceremony takes place outdoors on stone and gravel — elegant flats are a kindness to your ankles. A light wrap is wise as the sun drops behind the Atlas.

The Palm Terrace, Palais Namasker

Dinner is served at one long candlelit table under the palms, followed by dancing until the lanterns burn low. Formal / cocktail attire.

The Fountain Courtyard, Palais Namasker

Pastries, oranges, coffee and one last cup of mint tea before the drive back to the airport. Wonderfully informal — linen and sunglasses encouraged.

A little Morocco, for you

Come early. Stay late. This is a country that rewards the unhurried.

The pouring of tea

The pouring of tea

Three glasses, poured from a height, sweet as friendship. Say yes every time it is offered — it is how Morocco says welcome.

The souks at golden hour

The souks at golden hour

Follow the smell of cedar and saffron through the medina. Lose your sense of direction on purpose; every alley eventually gives you back to the light.

Riads and tiled water

Riads and tiled water

Behind every plain wall is a courtyard: cool zellige, a fountain, a square of sky. The city keeps its beauty inward.

The dunes, if you can

The dunes, if you can

Two hours past the Atlas the world empties out into red sand and silence. If you have a spare day, spend it there.
